How Does the 5.0 AT Treadmill Connect to Apps?

Horizon Fitness 5.0 AT Treadmill Integrations with Third-party Apps

The 5.0 AT Treadmill offers several ways to connect to your personal devices and apps. First, connect your phone or tablet to your Horizon Fitness equipment using Bluetooth, so you can enjoy the built-in speakers and convenient on-console media controls for playback and volume, making it easier to manage your content while you run.

Bluetooth Pairing

Some apps, like Zwift, pair directly to your equipment using Bluetooth FTMS technology. Other apps, like Peloton, only allow you to pass data through a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (not included with the 5.0AT). Most streaming workouts, like Apple Fitness + and Nike Run Club, do not require any treadmill connectivity at all to get the full experience.
